The Rise Above Adversity

Self-reflection is often described as a process by which you grow your understanding of who you are. Often times you can’t move onto the next phase of life without making sure to adjust your frame of mind. With an extended time off from the game he loves dearly, Antonio Brown has had countless days to self reflect.

Everyone knew the talent was there for Antonio Brown, however, a couple of off the field issues sidetracked him from being in the National Football League. With the extended time off from the game of football, Antonio worked on himself behind the scenes. As the weeks and months passed we saw less of the outlandish acts Antonio Brown would usually do. Finding peace in himself another opportunity arose with the Tampa Buccaneers with a familiar face in Tom Brady supporting him.

Once he finally stepped foot onto the field again, it seems like he was at peace and his talent was showcased like never before. Previously playing with Tom Brady in New England, the chemistry was still there as they did not need time to adjust to one another. Ultimately everything worked out for Antonio as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a magnificent season which transferred to an epic playoff run. The season ended perfectly as the Buccaneers captured a championship with a 31 to 9 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs.

With all Antonio Brown has been through it's amazing to see him become a super bowl champion and grow as a person.
