Ready To Ball

Lamelo Ball has grown up in the public eye going from a young basketball player that scored 92 points at Chino Hills High School to being selected with third overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets in the 2020 NBA draft. Lamelo did not take the traditional route of going to high school, playing college basketball, then hopefully getting drafted. With two overseas stints in Lithuania and Australia, playing in his dad’s Big Baller Brand League, and eventually returning to high school he had his fair share of basketball experiences.

Most believed that Lavar Ball was a lunatic for taking Lamelo Ball out of high school and placing him in professional leagues overseas against individuals that were bigger and stronger. Instead, this worked in Lamelo’s favor as he learned new techniques, gained knowledge, and matured as a player. Even though the location often changed, Lamelo stayed the same as he still was a walking highlight maker with his crossovers, long-range three-pointers, or his fancy passes that will leave fans with their mouths open wanting more.

With his dreams finally becoming a reality, Lamelo has a chance to prove all the haters wrong. Practically becoming a social media star at the age of 16 the pressure to succeed is out the window he’s just ready to play the sport he loves.
